Happy New Year!

Abigail & Cheyenne / Morgan & Savannah

Our Jesse Tree / Cheyenne & Savannah with Santa at Polar Express Party

I'm finally posting! I told you it would probably be after the New Year. We have had a very busy and fun holiday season. We enjoyed Thanksgiving at my sisters house, but we missed Bodie, he had to work! I started a new tradition this year. We did the Jesse Tree. It's has the same principal as an advent calendar. The girls and I really enjoyed it. Every night before bed we would read scripture and place an ornament on our Jesse tree that went with the story. I hope it helped them to remember what Christmas is really about. I plan to do this every year. Bodie and I took the girls to Birmingham for the Polar Express Pajama Party at the McWane Science Center. That was alot of fun! Cheyenne did really great during the IMAX version of the movie. I think that means it's time to take her to a regular movie. We had our 2nd annual cookie bake at Mom's on Dec. 23rd. This year we were able to have ALL the granddaughters there(Elizabeth, Mallory, Morgan, Abigail, Savannah, & Cheyenne)! Morgan and Abigail helped my girls with the gingerbread houses. They were really great with them! We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with Bodie's family. That is always alot of fun, and we have way too much food! We are still eating on pies that his Mom sent home with us. Santa was very good to the girls. They got everything they wanted. Speaking of the girls, they have done very well during the holiday break. They tend to fight alot, which means all the time! They've not done that. Granted there have been fights, crying, time outs and such, but not as bad as I thought it would be. Savannah spent the night with a friend for New Year's Eve, while Bodie, Cheyenne and I went to out to eat and enjoyed the rest of the evening at home. I look forward to what 2010 will bring for us. God has truely blessed my family! I pray that he continues that! Resolutions? Well, sure I have some, but like most of you, I'm sure they will be forgotten by February! :)
